Tom Carlson, Carlson & Associates, Ltd.
Thomas Carlson is the founding shareholder of Carlson & Associates located in Vadnais Heights. Tom practices extensively in the area of community association law, representing hundreds of condominium and townhouse associations throughout Minnesota in all matters, including collection of assessments, lien foreclosures, document enforcement and revisions and construction defects. John Dorgan, Dorgan Law Office
John R. Dorgan has been an attorney for nearly 32 years, having graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in1981. Since graduating from law school, John has represented homeowners associations and their members in matters involving just about every area of homeowners association law. Jon Edin, Levin Law Group, LLP
Jonathan Edin is the managing attorney of the Minneapolis/St. Paul office of Levin Law Group, LLP Raised in central Minnesota, Jonathan is an honors graduate of both the University of Minnesota and Pepperdine University School of Law. In his 20 years of practice, Jonathan has focused his career on litigation, both as an elected County Attorney and in the private sector. John Felton is a Senior Project Manager at Building Restoration Corporation based in Roseville, MN. BRC specializes in the repair and restoration of masonry and related building exterior envelope components. John has participated in the evaluation and repair of numerous buildings since joining the company in 1999, with projects ranging in scope from very small masonry repairs to comprehensive restoration projects of entire building exteriors.

He also serves as an expert witness in various construction disputes. Howard is the former Executive Director of the Minnesota Masonry Institute and is a registered Professional Engineer in Minnesota and 7 other mid-western states. He is a 1967 graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Consulting Engineers Council of Minnesota, and the Minnesota Masonry Society.
Gretchen Schellhas, Thomsen & Nybeck
Gretchen S. Schellhas practices in the area of Community Association Law, Collection and Real Estate. She graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1988. Jennifer Thompson, Hammargren & Meyer
Jennifer A. Thompson is a shareholder with Hammargren & Meyer, P.A. Her practice is largely devoted to the representation of homeowners and homeowner associations in all aspects of the residential construction process – from contract formation to post-performance claims and litigation. She also assists homeowner associations with their general business matters. Jennifer also has experience representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, and sureties in the commercial construction arena. In January 2011, Jennifer was appointed by Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak as an attorney Commissioner on the Minneapolis Civil Rights Commission. In 2012, she served a term as the Vice Chair of the Commission and also sat on the Commission’s Contract Compliance Committee, whose focus is to review and evaluate reports from the Department’s Contract Compliance Unit on, among other things, affirmative action goals for construction contracting and procurement.
