Nominee's biggest accomplishment is his sterling reputation for service and communication. Nominee works for a restoration company, which is called when something has gone wrong. So many of the company's customers, when they have a problem, do not call the emergency number - they call Nominee's cell, because they like and trust Nominee more than any other service provider they know.

What were the measurable benefits from this accomplishment? Examples include large capital improvements, savings to the association, etc. Please include any recognition you received from a board, homeowners, and developers, if applicable.

Ask anyone is the industry about Nominee, and you will not be able to get any negative comments about Nominee. Everyone knows if you have Nominee on a job, he will take care of everything.

I’ve been working with Nominee for over five years and they have won almost every paint bid through reputation, value for the price, and dedication to customer service. As a community manager, anything a vendor can do to reduce or eliminate homeowner calls is a huge benefit to my time management. Nominee does a project blog with information for homeowners and updates, and even schedules certain work directly on the blog such as front door painting where the homeowner needs to be home to have the door open for painting. One such project had over 50 unique homeowner communications on the blog about scheduling door painting and project scheduling. That is FIFTY less times my phone rang as community manager while the vendor handled that communication directly.

Board recognition is evident in Nominee’s continued selection as a painting vendor year after year. I had six associations on four year painting schedules, some very large 250 plus and 150 plus home Associations. Not only did Nominee perform large projects in painting all wood paintable surfaces and deck staining in 2010, when the projects came up again in 2014 Nominee won those bids a second time despite not being the lowest bidder. They won those contracts based on their performance the first time they completed the project. Benefits include increased longevity of wood surfaces and improved Association aesthetics.

Was there anything about the accomplishment(s) that exceeded the normal course of everyday responsibilities/services?

Two big ways this provider has exceeded everyday expectations immediately come to mind.
The first is in dealing with scheduling homeowner front doors. During the week they were scheduled to paint 96 front doors they stayed late everyday, past 7pm or later, to catch homeowners as they came home from work and even scheduled Saturday time slots for homeowners to ensure all 96 doors got painting in the open position. This level of service is followed through on completion of the project as well. During final site walk to review the project the vendor points out more clean up and touch up issues than I can see, marks with blue tape, and completes the touch ups the next day.

The second instance helped me directly as a community manager. I was having a difficult timing getting apples to apples bids so Nominee took the time to walk every Association I managed with me and define all paintable surfaces in painters terms so I could get better bids in the future. This really shows a commitment to the industry as they inevitably helped their competition provide more accurate bidding to the Board’s satisfaction.

Nominee has always had exceptional customer service and quality painting, which is of course more important. They offer options to fit any association budget and provide detail and background as an expert in the field. Even when they don’t get a bid they send a personalized thank you to the Board.

I have worked with Nominee for over 20 years and in those 20 years their overall service has been excellent. Although a lot of the companies that we work with are front and center, Nominee's more of a year round' behind the scenes' service provider.

What were the measurable benefits from this accomplishment? Examples include large capital improvements, savings to the association, etc. Please include any recognition you received from a board, homeowners, and developers, if applicable.

Nominee's offers a very competitive price for year round exterior pest control that benefits the Association immeasurably. In addition to the quarterly exterior inspections and treatments, they will provide as part of their annual fee, service to association homeowners in their individual home for insect and mice infestations. I have received many compliments over the years from my clients on the professional and courteous service they receive from Nominee.

Was there anything about the accomplishment(s) that exceeded the normal course of everyday responsibilities/services?

I have contacted Nominee's hundreds of times in the 20 years I have worked with them and I have always dealt with friendly and courteous people from the customer service representatives that take my initial call to the service inspectors in the field. When I call, they talk to me as if they know me and it doesn't matter who I speak with because everyone person I deal with is always very friendly, courteous and handle the call professionally. There have been times that I put in a service order with them and they call me back right away if they can't reach my client to reconfirm the phone numbers that I had provided. I really appreciate their follow through on all service orders.

Why does this individual deserve recognition? Please include any additional considerations.

Nominee has always provided professional service to my clients. If I call about a person that has a mouse and that person is terrified of mice or if a person who is allergic to bees calls about a hive near their home, Nominee will get someone out as soon as possible to accommodate the client. If they inspect a home and find a problem that the management needs to be aware of, they call immediately and advise us not only the problem but also suggest a solution to the problem. Many times my client will call Nominee back if they have another issue and instead of telling my client that they need the call has to come from the Association Manager, Nominee will call me and confirm that it is okay for them to take care of the customer. I really appreciate the personal attention that they give to my clients. Nominee has consistently shown their professionalism in their industry, excellent customer service and commitment to my company and my clients for over 20 years and because of this, I feel that they should be a strong contender for the Business Partner's Excellence in Service Award.
