Thomas C. Engblom Scholarship Application

The purpose of the Thomas C. Engblom Scholarship Fund is to provide individuals with the funding necessary to obtain their PCAM.

The administration of this scholarship fund is conducted by the directors.  Applications are reviewed by the CAI education committee and submitted to the Thomas C. Engblom Scholarship Fund.  Final decision and awards are made by the directors of the Thomas C. Engblom Scholarship Fund.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Be of  legal age
  • Recipients are required to use the scholarship only for the purpose of obtaining their PCAM
  • Recipients will receive a maximum amount of $400.00
  • The Thomas C. Engblom Scholarship Fund is subject to availability of funds

Applications are to be submitted below at least 90 days prior to the course date in order to be considered. 

Applicants must complete the official application and submit the following documentation proving a valid need for the scholarship:

A personal letter outlining their need and worthiness of the scholarship said letter should clearly state how the scholarship will assist them in their future goals.  The nominee should state how they feel they would be an asset to the industry once they have obtained their PCAM.

Applicant must provide three personal references (including addresses and phone numbers) who can attest to the applicant’s integrity and financial need.

Any documentation which clearly shows their financial need.

Applications will be reviewed based upon the following criteria:

Financial need.  Applicant must not receive employer reimbursement or any other source of payment for the tuition covered by the scholarship award. 
Commitment to the professional excellence in the real estate industry.
Personal commitment to obtaining their PCAM.

All recipients agree to join a committee of their choice (related to the real estate community) for a minimum of one year.
