Founded in 1977 as a multidisciplinary nonprofit, CAI-MN is the recognized expert in community association governance and management throughout Minnesota and strives to meet the needs of all community association stakeholders. CAI-MN is dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations.
Locally, our members include 1,200+ community association leaders and residents, community managers, community association management firms and business partners who provide products and services to community associations.

Our mission is to provide the knowledge, education, networking and legislative leadership to run competent and prosperous community associations.

When we fully deliver on our mission:
1. Community managers, homeowners and service providers are well educated and informed on relevant community association topics.
2. Legislators work collaboratively with our Legislative Action Committee (LAC) to develop effective community association legislation.
3. Community association board members and other leaders are well connected to each other, serving community associations more effectively.
