Minnesotans Rally at the Capitol to Support Fair HOA Representation and Thoughtful Legislation

Legislative

Homeowners, community leaders, industry professionals, advocates, and members of the Community Associations Institute's Minnesota Chapter (CAI-MN) in cooperation with the HOA Leadership Network, are coming together to promote fair and even legislation that supports the well-being of the approximately 1,556,000 Minnesotan homeowners living in more than 7,950 community associations (HOAs, condos, and coops). On Wednesday, April 2nd, at 10:30 AM, homeowners and community leaders will gather at the Minnesota State Capitol to share their voices and ensure that policies reflect fair and responsible legislation for their communities they call home.

This positive and united event will highlight the importance of collaborative decision-making and fair representation within HOA communities. The majority of Minnesotans appreciate the benefits of well-managed HOAs and this event aims to work constructively with lawmakers to advocate for policies that protect and strengthen these communities, not hinder them.

Community Associations Institute of Minnesota supports this coalition and is actively engaged in efforts to shape legislation that fairly represents homeowners and maintains the stability of community associations across Minnesota. By working together, we can ensure that any proposed legislation enhances rather than disrupts the quality of life for homeowners.
